Carol Renton and Lois Francis are educational consultants who have worked for over 20 years with local authorities, including Bristol City Council, to narrow the educational gap for Black and Asian Minority Ethnic pupils.
Carol and Lois were part of the original group that was seconded from the Ethnic Minority Achievement Service to compile the Black Bristolians: People Who Make a Difference pack.
They have subsequently worked with One Bristol Curriculum to update the pack. They have completed updates for Key Stage 3 and will do the same for the other Key Stages.
